Kids Ministry
Our Mission
It is our privilege and desire to come alongside parents and families to help train up their children in the way they should go. (Proverbs 22:6) Our heart is to create an environment that fosters community, equips children to grow up in their identity in Christ, teaches them to hear the voice of God for themselves, and provides the opportunity to have fun!
What to Expect?
NURSERY, TODDLERS, & PRE-K
Our youngest enjoy a time of worship, a Bible lesson and fun activities and a time to play and connect with their peers.
ELEMENTARY
Our older kids have a time of worship and an interactive lesson that strives to cultivate their relationship with God and develop their identity in Christ.
Check-In Process
Faith Kids children are signed in by a parent or guardian, who will receive a check-in receipt for the child. The parent or guardian must present the check-in receipt after service in order to sign out the child from care.

Check-in begins at 9:30am
WEDNESDAYS
Check-in begins at 6:30pm (Nursery-PreK)
Age Groups
NURSERY: 0 - 2 years old / potty trained
TODDLERS: 2 - 3 years old
PRE-K: 4 - 6 years old
ELEMENTARY: 1st - 4th grade

Our Leaders
Hannah Sherrell and her husband Ray lead Faith Kids.
Hannah worked for a Dallas based ministry with a focus on divine healing before moving to Birmingham and attending Life of Faith to serve the Guest Connect team. Hannah started serving in children’s ministry as soon as she was old enough for her childhood church, and now as a mother and Children’s Pastor, her desire is to see children walk boldly in the gifts of the Spirit and in intimacy with God.
Ray is a graduate of Charis Bible College, where he attended Ministry School. He’s served in many capacities for LOF, including Production, leading Forever Free small groups, and assisting the local branch of CHARIS. He loves sharing the Gospel with kids in a way that engages them with curiosity and excitement.
